Bought Christmas eve '96. First 2.8 Z3 received by dealer. With 14500 miles, I still love it as much as the day I bought it. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your information is incorrect regarding the top speed of the 1999 M roadster. My stock 199 easily achieved 145 top down blonde in the passenger seat on I65 between Indy and Lafayette. On a cooler day on I40 in Kentucky I managed 150 before the transmisison began slipping. never got to the familiar fuel shut-off that the 3 series does to me.

Have little info on mine, but goes very well. Has tiptronic box & 3.0 motor go's well, just had suspension adjusted grips like hell. Sexy as, met blue with lite leather inside.

By the way, the specs for the "M" Roadster are incorrect on this site. It is not a 2.8, rather it is the 3.2 inline 6. 0-60 is rated at 4.9 seconds. This is the main difference between the "M" and the "Z3". Also, some major design differences which have a cosmetic impact.

Extremely high performance for the price. In fact, to get higher performance one would have to shell out big bucks(ferrari, lambo,etc.). I love the car and baby it. Stored winters and still under 10K miles. Driven only for special occasions. I could have afforded much more but found a great car at a very affordable price. I hope to add an M6 to the stable soon!
