have had my 2002 steet gray metallic m roadster for 5 years. its a wonderful car that can come close and ofter pass exotics costing much more. anyone thinking about purchasing an m roadster should first look for the most powerful years, 01 & 02 with the 315hp S54 engine. with reasonable care, this engine should last 200,000+ miles. Purchased this sexy little number mid-July in broiling Arizona. Didn't know what the M stood for, maybe 'cause my name started with M? No, then I was told it had a lot of torque! What??? Found out real quick all about torque, and this little car has all kinds of it. Best car I've ever owned and driven!!!

Have the same problem with air lock when fueling from time to time...Try to just let the tank fill and not top it off manually..When I do this the problem does not occur...
